much is written about how to live & worship God through earthly suffering, as it is obviously a difficult road to walk. And many lies have been told about how to obey God in order to achieve earthly comfort, security, and abundance (none of which the Bible values very highly.) But when your life is filled up with blessings, how should we then live?

I find there is great inspiration for the kind of prayer of living for blessed time (and transitional time from and to blessing) in seeing God's hope and desire for Israel to overflow with blessing for all around them. While in school I read a very good, very short (they go together) book called "Mission in the Old Testament" that had some ideas.
The big thing for us has always been about learning to use the blessings of God to create peace and safety for others, not ourselves. Whether it's our home (a space for those things to happen), our relationships, our money, our prayers... We are always asking God how we can pass along and give away his blessings in ways that reflect him. Living differently with your blessings often invites questions from the people Jesus misses most.
